Introducing Our New Voices of Joy Class

The North Georgia School of Gospel Music is excited to announce the addition of our Voices of Joy Class, beginning with the 2026 session.

The Lord has opened the door for us to offer this class for students who may need a few extra accommodations, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve these students and their families. Our desire is to learn as much as possible about each student in advance so we can help provide a safe, encouraging, and enjoyable week of music and learning.

Please read the information below carefully before registering.

Class Details

For the 2026 session, the Voices of Joy Class will be limited to six students and will maintain a 2-to-1 adult-to-student ratio.

Students may choose either:

  • Half-day attendance, through lunch
  • Full-day attendance

Parent or Guardian Attendance

A parent or guardian is welcome to attend music school with their student. To help us provide a consistent and respectful environment for everyone, please note the following:

  • One parent or guardian may attend with each student.
  • When possible, we ask that the same chaperone attend each day.
  • The chaperone must be registered as a Student Chaperone.
  • The chaperone registration link can be found at ngsgm.com under the Registration tab.

Special Accommodations

During registration, you will have the opportunity to tell us more about your student.

Please share anything that would help us better understand your student’s needs, preferences, routines, communication style, sensitivities, strengths, or concerns. Nothing is too small or too big to mention. The more we know ahead of time, the better prepared we can be.

Teacher

The Voices of Joy Class will be led by Caroline Pirkle Ingram.

Caroline holds her Special Education certification and currently teaches IRR (Interrelated Resource) in Forsyth County Schools. She is also MindSet trained and serves on the crisis team at her school.

Caroline is no stranger to NGSGM. She is a former student and has served as a campus chaperone for the past five years. Families will also have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Caroline on Sunday evening during registration check-in and the meet-and-greet.

Tuition and Registration

For the 2026 session, tuition for students in the Voices of Joy Class has been paid by a generous donor.

Families will only be charged the $30 registration and t-shirt fee.

Before completing the registration form, please have the following ready to upload:

  • Your student’s insurance card
  • A current picture of your student

To register for the Voices of Joy Class, please text Mrs. Michelle for instructions and the registration code.
